Citrus Avocado Black Cod Ceviche

For a refreshing twist, try this Citrus Avocado Black Cod Ceviche. Perfect for a light lunch or a stunning appetizer!

Ingredients:

  • 4 black cod fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Juice of 3 limes
  • Juice of 2 oranges
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (about 1/4 cup)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine black cod pieces, lime juice, and orange juice. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour, until the fish is opaque and "cooked" through.
  2. Add red onion, jalapeño, avocado, cilantro, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Toss gently to combine.
  3. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or on a bed of lettuce. Enjoy the vibrant flavors and the melt-in-your-mouth texture of the fish.
