Carter Country Meats has been ranching in Ten Sleep, Wyoming since 1964. Their cattle roam 40,000 wild acres on the western slope of the Big Horn Mountains, fed by twenty-seven natural springs across some of the most mineral-rich rangeland in the country. No feedlots. No grain finishing. No shortcuts. Just cattle raised the way they were meant to be - on open land, eating native grass, building the kind of nutrient density you simply can't manufacture.
The parallels to what we do on the water are hard to ignore. We catch our fish one at a time on a line and freeze it at sea within hours. RC Carter raises his herd on regenerative pasture and ships it frozen direct to your door. Different terrain, same commitment: small batch, producer-direct, and raised right from the start.
